Spiritual Experiences in Egypt
In this category, we envision people sharing their spiritual experiences they had while in Egypt and/or results from giving their intentions in the Kings Chamber inside the Great Pyramid. For a flavor of some of the awesome experiences ‘past’ travelers have had, read an article written about the 999 Circle the Pyramid Event in an archived newsletter. When in Karnak Temple in Luxor our group visited Goddess Sekhmets Chapel. The morning was fresh and the sun was just coming up. When we entered the sanctuary Sekhmet’s statue was glowing as if to say “Welcome Home”. The power in this small room dominated by the this extraordinary statue was astounding. Looking in the face of the Goddess she appeared to smile and open her eyes in a greeting. Many in the group saw her expression change. Each of us felt the power of the Goddess expand around us as we meditated in silence. She was alive!
Thanks for a great post and interesting comments. I found this post while surfing the web for freebies. Thanks for sharing this article.
Leona, have you had a chance to go to Egypt or had experiences at other sacred sites? If you have I would love to here about it. Of course, everywhere is sacred depending on your perspective and attitude. Shelia
Egypt has so many stories and the travelers that go on our journeys come home with their own. Our next trip is in September so I am sure there will be great experiences to share at that time. When you get a chance, check out our newsletter. The new one will be posted sometime next week. Please, keep in touch.
I am hoping that more people who have had spiritual experiences in Egypt will tell us about them. Last November our group was exploring Luxor Temple at night. Many were taking pictures with their digital cameras and capturing orbs of every size on their screens. Excited everyone would gather around the camera to see the special picture. One of our group was very skeptical saying the orbs were just dust in the air captured on the lense, so an experiment was done. The leader /special guest on this particular pilgrimage asked if one of the orbs would come and sit in her hand. As she held open her hand our skeptic clicked her picture. In the picture a beautiful orb is sitting in her hand and the skeptic is no longer skeptical. I will ask this lady if it is okay to share the picture. Hopefully it will be on my next blog. Thanks for visiting!
